Happy Monday everyone! Check out my new bulletin board that's inside my classroom. Does anyone have any ideas for bulletin boards outside the classroom? I'm not allowed to write student names or anything about speech and/or language. I hate to admit this but.... my outside board has said "We are here to shine" since August! I need to do something about that quick!
Talk it up!

Cute!!! I'm doing popcorn this month!

Mine still says "Let it snow!" and it isn't going to snow anymore this year, lol. I would love some ideas for outside bulletin boards. Maybe something like "Pop into (insert language skill)" and each kernel had a describing word or synonym...
ReplyDeleteOhhh..."Pop into synonmys" would be great. I even have leftover popcorn boarder! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy fellow OT and PT just decorated a bulletin board for our therapy room that says "Therapy is a HOOT" with owl decorations. You could do "Speech Therapy is a HOOT" if you wanted to. I too was looking for something that I could leave up all year around if I needed too, and I found this idea somewhere online. Also, oriental trade has some really cute owl decorations for cheap (I laminated mine to make them more sturdy). Thanks for the popcorn idea, that is really cute!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Where did you get the popcorn and popcorn bags?
ReplyDeleteThanks! The border and popcorn were from a teacher supply store. The popcorn bags were from Party City.
ReplyDeleteI have had Mrs. Pettett's Speech Spot on mine for two years - I'm a traveling SLP...But every now and then I try to decorate my temporary spot...It is really cute with lady bugs cut outs for borders
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love! Just created my version of this board and mentioned you in the blog post. Great idea!
